Dropshipping Terms & Policy

1. Agreement

By activating dropshipping as a fulfillment method on RB Marketplace, the vendor agrees to comply with this Dropshipping Policy, the general Vendor Terms & Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. These terms apply regardless of the supplier or fulfillment method used.

2. Eligibility

To operate a dropshipping store on RB Marketplace, vendors must:

• Hold an active vendor account in good standing
• Be enrolled in a current vendor membership plan (Free Starter, Silver, Gold, or Platinum)
• Work exclusively with suppliers who comply with Section 4 (Approved Supplier Standards)
• Agree that all orders, regardless of fulfillment method, are the vendor's sole responsibility

3. Vendor responsibility

Even when products are fulfilled by a third-party supplier, the vendor remains fully and solely responsible for:

• Product quality and authenticity
• Order accuracy and completeness
• Shipping performance and delivery timelines
• Customer communication and support
• Returns, refunds, and dispute resolution
• Compliance with all applicable laws in the countries where they operate

4. Approved supplier standards

Vendors must partner only with reliable, reputable suppliers that meet the following minimum standards:

• Supply genuine, authentic, and legally permitted products
• Maintain accurate and real-time inventory levels
• Provide reasonable and clearly defined shipping timelines
• Use appropriate and professional product packaging
• Do not engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or prohibited business practices

RB Marketplace may request evidence of supplier reliability and reserves the right to require vendors to change suppliers if standards are not met.

5. Prohibited suppliers & products

Vendors may not use dropshipping suppliers that:

• Supply counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized branded products
• Operate outside of applicable import, export, or consumer protection laws
• Insert unauthorized promotional materials, invoices, or third-party branding in shipments
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive shipping practices (e.g., false tracking, fake delivery confirmation)

Prohibited products

The following product categories are prohibited under any fulfillment model, including dropshipping:

• Counterfeit or trademark-infringing goods
• Illegal or controlled substances
• Stolen merchandise
• Hazardous items
• Products that violate consumer safety laws in the destination country

6. Shipping requirements

Dropshipping vendors must:

• Clearly display estimated delivery times on all product listings
• Display shipping costs accurately before checkout
• Provide tracking information to customers as soon as it becomes available
• Notify customers promptly of any delays, backorders, or shipping issues
• Ensure that shipping timelines comply with any deadlines stated during checkout

Vendors who consistently fail to meet stated shipping timelines may have their listings removed or accounts suspended.

7. Inventory management

Vendors are responsible for keeping their listings up to date with accurate stock availability. Vendors must:

• Regularly sync with their supplier's inventory to avoid overselling
• Promptly remove or pause listings for products that are no longer available
• Not accept orders for items known to be out of stock

Excessive order cancellations resulting from inventory inaccuracies may result in corrective action, including listing removal or account suspension.

8. Product accuracy & quality

All product listings must accurately reflect the item being shipped, including:

• Product descriptions, specifications, and dimensions
• Product images (must represent the actual item, not a substitute)
• Material, color, size, and variant details

RB Marketplace may remove listings or suspend vendor accounts if products repeatedly fail to match their descriptions, do not meet acceptable quality standards, or generate an unreasonable volume of customer complaints.

9. Customer support

Dropshipping vendors must provide the same level of customer service as any standard vendor on the platform:

• Respond to customer inquiries within 1 business day
• Proactively communicate order status and shipping updates
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly
• Not redirect customers to suppliers for support — all support is the vendor's responsibility

10. Returns & refunds

Dropshipping vendors must honor RB Marketplace's Return & Refund Policy in full. Key obligations include:

• Accepting return requests submitted within 30 days of confirmed delivery
• Processing approved refunds through the original payment method
• Coordinating with suppliers to arrange return logistics where required
• Covering return shipping costs when the return is caused by a vendor or supplier error (wrong item, damaged goods, item not as described)

11. Branding & packaging

To maintain a consistent and professional customer experience:

• Suppliers must not include their own invoices, business cards, promotional flyers, discount codes, or third-party branding inside shipments
• Packaging must not contain materials that identify a supplier other than the vendor unless explicitly approved by RB Marketplace
• Vendors must instruct suppliers to ship as a neutral or vendor-branded shipment

Failure to enforce supplier branding compliance may result in listing removal.

12. Commission & fees

Dropshipping vendors are subject to the same commission and membership fee structure as all vendors on RB Marketplace:

13. Compliance & legal

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that their dropshipping operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including:

• Consumer protection laws in the buyer's country
• Import, export, and customs regulations
• Product safety and labeling standards
• Tax obligations (VAT, GST, import duties) in applicable jurisdictions

RB Marketplace bears no liability for a vendor's failure to comply with applicable laws.

14. Enforcement

Failure to comply with this Dropshipping Policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at RB Marketplace's sole discretion:

• Removal of individual product listings
• Temporary suspension of the vendor account
• Withholding of pending payouts where permitted by law
• Permanent termination of the vendor account
• Referral to relevant regulatory or legal authorities where applicable

15. Policy updates

RB Marketplace reserves the right to revise, update, or replace this Dropshipping Policy at any time. Vendors will be notified of material changes, and continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
